Is Mobbin MCP Free? Mobbin MCP Pricing, Billing and Limits (October 2026)
Mobbin MCP is only on paid Pro and Team plans. Pro is $45 a quarter or $120 a year, no monthly plan (checked Oct 18, 2026). Gummble MCP: $9.99/month.

Is Mobbin MCP free?
No. Mobbin MCP requires a paid Mobbin plan. The free Mobbin account does not include it. To use Mobbin MCP you need Pro (one person) or Team (per member), and Mobbin bills those plans every 3 months or every 12 months. There is no monthly plan.
We checked mobbin.com/pricing, Mobbin's machine-readable pricing summary and the Mobbin MCP page on October 18, 2026. Here is what they say:
| Mobbin plan | MCP | Billed quarterly | Billed yearly |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | Not included | $0 | $0 |
| Pro (1 member) | Included | $45 every 3 months ($15/month) | $120 every 12 months ($10/month) |
| Team (per member) | Included | $72 per member every 3 months ($24/month) | $192 per member every 12 months ($16/month) |
| Enterprise | Included | Custom | Custom |
So the cheapest way to get Mobbin MCP is Pro at $45 paid up front for 3 months. The "$10/month" price you see on the pricing page is the yearly plan, which is $120 paid up front. Mobbin's pricing summary also says that payments are generally non-refundable, and that eligible students and educators get 50% off Pro.
In short, Mobbin has a $0 free tier for limited browsing that does not include MCP, flows or search.
How Mobbin MCP pricing compares with Gummble MCP
Gummble MCP is not free either. It is part of every paid Gummble plan, starting with Browse at $9.99/month, billed monthly. Gummble prices from gummble.com/pricing:
| Gummble MCP | Mobbin MCP | |
|---|---|---|
| Free plan includes MCP | No | No |
| Cheapest plan with MCP | Browse: $9.99/month | Pro: $45/quarter or $120/year |
| Shortest billing period | 1 month | 3 months |
| Smallest upfront payment | $9.99 | $45 |
| Yearly option | $99.90/year (Browse) | $120/year (Pro) |
| Team pricing | $15/seat/month, from 3 seats | $24/member/month quarterly, $16 yearly |
| Refunds | 7-day window for eligible first web payments, under the Terms | Generally non-refundable, per Mobbin's pricing summary |
If you already pay for Mobbin Pro or Team, you already have MCP, so there is nothing extra to buy. If you would subscribe only to try MCP with your AI agent, the two options differ in commitment more than in price per month: Mobbin asks for at least 3 months up front, and Gummble lets you pay for one month and cancel.

What Mobbin MCP includes
From the Mobbin MCP page and its technical summary, checked October 18, 2026:
- Plans: Pro, Team and Enterprise.
- Tools: three read-only tools:
search_screens,search_flowsandsearch_sections(website sections). - Library: Mobbin says the MCP connects agents to "600,000+ real product screens" from the same library as the website.
- Setup: OAuth in the browser, no API key. Endpoint
https://api.mobbin.com/mcp. Mobbin lists Claude Code, Claude, Cursor, Codex, ChatGPT, Manus, Grok, Figma and v0. - Limits: 60 requests per 60 seconds per user. The MCP page also labels MCP as beta, with "unlimited usage during beta" and a note that usage limits will apply in the future.
- REST API: separate from MCP, and only on Team and Enterprise.
If you plan heavy agent use, the beta note is worth keeping in mind: there is no usage quota today beyond the per-minute rate limit, but Mobbin has said one is coming.
What Gummble MCP includes
Gummble MCP is a remote MCP server with 14 read-only tools for apps, screens, flows, patterns and microcopy. The catalog figures Gummble publishes are lower bounds from its evidence register:
- 300,000+ screens
- 21,000+ browsable UX flows
- 1,500+ apps across iOS, Android and web (one combined total, not per platform)
A few tools are worth knowing about if you compare the products side by side:
gummble_search_microcopysearches the text on captured screens, such as empty states, error messages, onboarding copy and paywall wording.gummble_search_patternsandgummble_search_flowslet an agent ask for "paywalls" or "onboarding" across apps instead of naming a specific product.gummble_search_sectionssearches real website sections (hero, pricing, testimonials, FAQ, footer), similar to Mobbin'ssearch_sections.gummble_search_store_screenshotsandgummble_get_store_screenshotsreturn the live App Store screenshot set for apps ranking on a keyword, or for one app. Mobbin's MCP documentation lists no equivalent tool.
Setup uses OAuth in the browser. Gummble publishes guides for Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Codex, v0 and other remote-MCP clients.
The tools are read-only: they return references and do not write to your project.
How to test both before paying for a quarter
Library size alone won't tell you much. What matters is whether the server returns the screens you need for your work. Run the same three prompts against each:
- "Find onboarding permission prompts from finance apps."
- "Show checkout flows that handle a declined card."
- "Find empty-state copy for a new team workspace."
For each answer, check:
- whether every result links back to a real captured screen;
- whether the platform and state match what you asked for;
- whether you get the surrounding flow, not just one isolated screen;
- whether your AI client shows the images or only text.
A screen from a shipped app shows what that product did when it was captured. It does not prove the design improved conversion or retention.
Which one should you pick?
Use Mobbin MCP if you already have Mobbin Pro or Team, if your team already researches in the Mobbin library, or if you need its larger screen count and you are fine paying quarterly or yearly.
Try Gummble MCP if you want to pay month to month, want a dedicated microcopy search tool, or prefer pattern-level queries across iOS, Android and web.
You can connect both if your client supports several remote servers. Other design MCP servers are worth a look too: the MCP servers for designers roundup covers Figma-context, component-registry and asset tools too.
Setup
Gummble with Claude Code:
claude mcp add gummble --scope user --transport http https://mcp.gummble.com/mcp
Your browser then opens for OAuth sign-in. Steps for other clients are in the Gummble MCP guide. For Mobbin, copy the install command from its live MCP page rather than an older blog post, because endpoints and client lists change.

Frequently asked questions
Is Mobbin MCP free?
No. Mobbin MCP is only included in paid plans (Pro, Team and Enterprise). The free Mobbin account does not include MCP. Checked on mobbin.com on October 18, 2026.
How much does Mobbin MCP cost?
MCP comes with Mobbin Pro, which costs $45 every 3 months or $120 every 12 months. Team costs $72 per member every 3 months or $192 per member every 12 months. These are USD prices from Mobbin's pricing pages on October 18, 2026; localized prices and taxes can differ.
Does Mobbin have a monthly plan?
No. Mobbin's pricing summary says it does not offer a monthly billing interval. The "$10/month" and "$15/month" figures are monthly equivalents of the yearly and quarterly plans.
Is Mobbin MCP worth it?
If you already pay for Mobbin, MCP costs nothing extra, so it is worth trying. If you would subscribe only for MCP, the minimum is $45 for 3 months, and Mobbin says payments are generally non-refundable. Test it with prompts from a real project first, or compare a one-month plan elsewhere.
Does Mobbin MCP have usage limits?
Yes, a rate limit: Mobbin documents 60 requests per 60 seconds per user. As of October 18, 2026 it also labels MCP as beta with unlimited usage during the beta, and says usage limits will apply later. Check the MCP page for the current policy.
What is a free alternative to Mobbin MCP?
We are not aware of a free MCP server with a comparable library of real app screens. Gummble MCP is paid too, at $9.99/month billed monthly, which is the smallest upfront payment among the paid options in this comparison. If you look at community servers, check where their screenshots come from, the license, and whether anyone still maintains them.
Does Gummble MCP work with Claude Code and Cursor?
Yes. Gummble publishes setup steps for Claude Code, Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, Codex, v0 and other remote-MCP clients on the MCP page.
Can Gummble MCP modify my files?
No. All 14 Gummble MCP tools are read-only. Your AI client may have other local tools with write access; review those separately.
Disclosure: Gummble publishes this comparison. Gummble figures come from its own pricing configuration and evidence register. Mobbin prices, plans and MCP details are quoted from mobbin.com/pricing, mobbin.com/pricing.md and mobbin.com/mcp.md (both marked last updated 2026-09-11 by Mobbin) and mobbin.com/mcp as checked on October 18, 2026.
